About the Position: As the Business Development Manager of North America, the primary goal of this position is to grow existing business through inside sales efforts while diversifying the assigned territory's portfolio by expanding revenues across multiple verticals and industries. Combined with managing an existing portfolio of clients, a successful Business Development Manager will capitalize on every opportunity to increase overall monthly recurring revenue for Lotus Analytics and The Lotus Group of Companies.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the management of all existing and future business channels for optimum sales growth.
  • Responsible for meeting sales quotas and defined growth expectations in conjunction with the firm's financial objectives.
  • Provides leadership to the sales division of the firm, and serves as counsel to the Leadership Team by implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect the firm's business goals.
  • Partners with decision makers from the target market to identify opportunities for sales improvement.
  • Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the channel by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for product launch.
  • Responsible for the optimal deployment of sales ideas and methods for growth across all verticals.
  • Makes recommendations for marketing & sales strategies to maximize sales and productivity.
  • Establish sales channels across all verticals and coordinates with the supervisor to establish associated program policies, pricing, and procedures.
  • Accountable for the achievement of the firm's sales, profit, and strategic objectives. Accountable for the on-time implementation of sales organization quotas and performance objectives.
  • Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives and activities.
  • Assists with sales efforts across multiple divisions of The Lotus Group of Companies.

Required Professional Experience & Education:

  1. 5 or more years direct sales experience with 2 or more years serving nation-wide clients.
  2. Proven track record of managing and growing business sales with QoQ/YoY growth.
  3. Exceptional proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.
  4. Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
  6. Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and clients, in a clear and concise manner


Salary plus monthly commission, and annual sales performance bonuses.
